Translate User Interfaces of Open Contacts

Open Contacts supports Unicode. That's, even on English windows (2000 and XP or above), you can input non-English characters, though the user interfaces are still mostly in English.

It is surely better to have the user interfaces in your native language as well. The translation of the user interfaces consists of 3 parts:

• Localizing dynamic fields and settings
• Localizing the Windows program user interfaces
• Amending some template files in the templates directory

After you have done these 3 parts of translation, you may package them in a zip file, then your buddies may patch the zip file through running [Main menu -> Tools -> Apply translation patch].
